As we open the season of Advent with Isaiah 35: 1-10, we get Isaiah's hopeful picture of what the "peaceable Kingdom" will look like. "No traveler, not even fools, will go astray!" Isaiah gives us a kind of Christmas list - all the things that would make life feel as if we were walking with God. One might conclude he is describing heaven on earth. Maybe he is. What would it look like if we proclaimed the Reign of God in our hearts this season? How would that expand into our community and our world?
The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be offered at 8:00 and 10:00 Sunday morning worship.
