Centering Prayer

Date: Mondays
Time: 12 to 12:30 p.m.
Place: Chapel
Centering Prayer meets in-person on Mondays from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the chapel. Beginners are welcome. They also meet every other weekday at noon on Zoom. Please join us!

Adult Education with Rev. Ben

Rev. Ben leads a class each Sunday morning between services where he digs deeper into some of his favorite Christian topics. All are welcome!
Wednesday Night Live

WNL is on summer break. Check back with us in the fall!
Date: Wednesdays
Time: 5:15 p.m. for dinner, 6 p.m. for programs
Place: Chadwick Hall
Please join us each Wednesday night for a time of learning and fellowship for all ages.
5:15 p.m. - 6 p.m. Shared meal in Chadwick Hall
We will provide soup, bread, and oreos. Gluten free and vegan options will be available. $5/person or $15/family max. You are welcome to bring additional items to share - each item you bring means a member of your party eats for free!
6 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. Structured play in gym for kids, learning and community connection opportunities for adults.
Wednesday Night Live Cooking Team

Scripture Seminar

Scripture Seminar (Bible Study) meets each Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. via Zoom. They are currently working their way through the book of Acts of the Apostles. Please reach out to Rev. Ben if you are interested in participating!

Regular Meetings
Volunteer at the Weld Food Bank

Date: Second Thursday of the month
Time: 5 to 7 p.m.
Place: Weld Food Bank
The number of people in our community who are food insecure has grown exponentially in recent years. As a community of faith in Weld County we seek opportunities to assist others in receiving things that we take for granted. On each second Thursday of the month from 5 to 7 p.m., we invite our members and friends to join us in packaging food for distribution to those in need in our community.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Date: Third Tuesday of the month
Time: 1 p.m.
Place: Slighter Hall
The monthly Prayer Shawl Group meets the third Tuesday of each month. All knitters or crocheters are welcome. Bring projects that you have started. Yarn is available in the church office for anyone who needs it.
Guadalupe Community Center Meals

Date: Fourth Saturday of the month
Time: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Place: Guadalupe Community Center
Join a team from First Congregational to cook and serve a meal at the Guadalupe Community Center!
We serve on the fourth Saturday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Book Group

Date: First & third Thursdays of the month
Time: 1 p.m.
Place: FCC
The Book Group meets twice a month Thursdays to discuss a book they are reading together.
Ruth Group

Date: Second Thursday of the month
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Place: FCC
The Ruth Group is a women's group that meets every second Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at FCC. All women are welcome!
ROMEOS

Date: Fridays
Time: 8 a.m.
Place: Epic Egg on 10th Street
ROMEOS (Retired Old Men Eating Out) gather every Friday at 8 a.m. at the Epic Egg on 10th Street. All retired men are welcome to join them!

Walburga Abbey Retreat Days

Rev. Ben leads quarterly retreats to the Abbey of St. Walburga, where participants will find opportunities for both communal and individual contemplation. Transportation provided. Contact Rev. Ben for more information.
Alternative Worship Experiences
